*Wednesday is an early release inservice day. Students dismissed at 12:20.
*Our 2nd Quarter Awards Assembly will be held in the RBE Cafeteria this Friday at 8:30. Students will receive tags for Honor Roll (GPA 3.00 - 3.79), Principal's List (GPA 3.80 - 4.00), Perfect Attendance, and Character Counts.
*Monday, January 18th, is a holiday.
*Students were given the reading logs for Six Flags Read to Succeed. Students may earn a ticket to Six Flags by completing 6 hours (360 minutes) of recreational reading (AR counts). The reading logs need to be turned in by February 26th.
*Students will also be given information about the Bank of America Essay / Speech Contest. This will be extra credit for Reading, English, and Science for the 4th Quarter. Essays are due by March 31st (the Thursday after spring break). See page on left for details.
