If you find that you are getting random popups, ads or notifications (typically in the bottom right of your screen) while using Google Chrome, you likely have either Rogue Extensions or have allowed websites to send you notifications. Check these areas to get rid of them:
 

Removing Chrome Extensions:

Click the little puzzle piece icon in the top right of your chrome window.

Click Manage Extensions to open a list of all installed extensions

Click REMOVE on any extensions that you do not use or do not recognize. (Some will not have a remove option, those are enforced by me to be installed)

Removing Notification Permissions in Chrome:

In chrome go to the hamburger menu(3 dots) in the top right.

Click Settings

In the "search settings bar type: "Notifications"

Select "Site Settings"

Scroll down to and click "Notifications"

Block/Remove any unknown sites from the "Allowed to send notifications" list.
