The RBG Band and Choir will be holding their annual Holiday Performance on Thursday, December 17 at 6 PM in the RBG Auditorium.

Regional Oral Language Festival  for grades 4-6 at Veteran's Elementary School on Tuesday, December 15 at 6:30 PM.

With the promise of an El Nino weather year there is the possibility of fog. We no longer use the call center used in year's passed. We now use the PowerAnnouncement system to get information to our parents, such as; fog delays, cancelations, emergency notices, updates about meetings and programs at the schools, etc. These announcements can be setup by you to receive an email, voice message, or text message.  The instructions are available on the left hand menu for Students and Parents, under PowerAnnouncement.

The Junior High (7-8) Region 1 & 2 Oral Language Festival @ Fruitvale Junior High School, 2114 Calloway Dr, Bakersfield, CA 93312. Contestants are to arrive by 6:30 PM. The Intermediate Level Oral Language Festival is Tuesday, December 15 @ Veterans Elementary School 6301 Old Farm, Bakersfield, CA. Contestants are to arrive by 6:30 PM

Friday, December 18 is a minimum day for the district with dismissal at 12:30 PM. Winter Breaks begins and school will resume on Monday, January 4, 2016.

RBE will be going to the movies on Thursday, December 17 (Grades TK - 3 and Carnal/Macaulay 4th Grade). RBG will be going to the movies on Friday, December 18 (Grades 5 - 8 and Ralls/Selgrath 4th Grade)

There will  be a RBG Board of Trustees meeting on Monday, December 14 at the RBG Cafeteria @ 6:30PM.
