RBG First Quarter Awards Assembly. 8th Grade 8:27 AM 7th Grade 9:13 AM 6th Grade 10:09 AM 5th Grade 10:55 AM
The RBG Girls Volleyball Tournament Saturday, October 22 at the RBG Gym. This tournament is for girls in grade 6, 7, & 8 . Come out to support our girls!
Student Report Cards will be given out at the Parent/Teacher Conferences on Thursday, October 20 from 1:30 PM - 7:00 PM with a dinner break at 5:00 - 5:45 PM. Thursday (10/20) and Friday (10/21) will be minimum day schedules with dismissal at 12:30 PM.
The October Board of Trustees meeting is Monday, October 10 at the RBG Cafeteria. Open session starts at 6:30. Please check in the Board section for the agenda.
First EL Computer Lab Night at the RBG Computer Lab on Thursday, October 13. Open from 6 - 7 PM. Our topics for the night are getting parents logged into the Spanish parent portal on Illuminate and then demonstrating how they can work with/encourage at home getting their children logged on to Lexia/Reading Plus.
SAVE THE DATE & PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS! The RBGUSD Educational Foundation New York Steak BBQ and Auctions will be held Saturday, October 15th at the Tracy Ranch Headquarters. Time: 5:00 - 10:30 PM Put this on your calendar and come out to help support the school. Tickets are $50/person - Adults only please! These are available in the School Offices. More information below on making donations toward the auctions. We thank you for your help.
RBG Red Ribbon Week, October 24-28. Drug-Free Celebration. Monday: PJ Day, "Follow your dreams, not drugs." (No slippers, flip flops, etc.) Tuesday: White out Day, "Erase drugs from our school." Wear all while! Wednesday: Walt Disney Day, "Keep drugs out of our fairytale." Thursday: Camouflage/Patriotic Day, "Fight off Drugs." Friday: Jersey Day, "Team up against drugs." All Dress Code rules apply each day! RBE Red Ribbon Week, October 24-28 Monday: "RED"-Y to live a Drug Free life! Wear Red! Tuesday: Elect to be Drug Free! Wear Red, White and Blue! Wednesday: I have the POWER to be Drug Free! Dress like a superhero Thursday: I'm Too BRIGHT for Drugs! Wear neon and sunglasses Friday: Don't get tied down with drugs! Wear Tie Dye!
Student Council: The Leadership Conference is on Friday, the 30th at Bakersfield College. It is put on by Fruitvale School District. Students get to collaborate with other schools, attend break out sessions, listen to a motivational speaker, and be a part of a mock school rally.
