The 2011-2012 school year begins on August 22. School starts at 8:15AM. Please remember that the new law requiring the TDAP (Pertussis Vaccination Booster) is required.Please come ready to start the new year with a smile and positive attitude. Let's make it a great year!

One of our traditions at Rio Bravo-Greeley USD is the "Moving Up" song on the last day of school where the different classes move during the song from their seats to the next rows signifying their move to the next grade. The 8th grade moves from the stage to the side to show their move to High School. This is more than 30 years old now and we have a very large crowd of parents, grandparents and former Gauchos who visit on that day to see this tradition continued.For all of you old Gauchos who can't remember the words to the "Moving Up" song I have placed them in a file here for you to remember them as we go through them today about 12:00PM PST.

Battle of the BooksAmerica's Battle of the Books is a voluntary reading incentive program for students in grades 3-12. The purpose is simply to encourage students to read good books and have fun while competing with peers. More information will be forthcoming when school begins in the fall, but if you want to know more or want a look at the reading list the website to visit is http://www.battleofthebooks.org.
