George Washington's Birthday...No School on Monday, February 21. School will resume on Tuesday, February 22.
The Rio Bravo-Greeley USD Board of Trustees Meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 15 in the Rio Bravo-Greeley Cafeteria. Open Session begins at 6:30PM with Closed Session after the meeting if needed.
Mark your calendars for the Rio Bravo-Greeley Educational Foundation-3rd Annual Golf Tournament at the Riverlakes Golf Course on Friday, March 18, 2011. There will be more information coming about the tournament, prizes, cost, hole sponsorship and especially how you can help the district with its educational needs.
The 16th of February will be an Early Release day for all students in the district. Students will be dismissed at 12:30.

A District Inservice Day is scheduled for Wednesday, January 12th. Students will be dismissed at 12:30.
Monday, January 17, 2011 is Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday and school will be closed. The regular school day will resume on Tuesday, January 18th.

The First Semester ends on Friday, December 17, 2010 with a minimum day and students released at 12:30PM. This is also the start of the Holiday Break for two weeks. School will resumes for the new semester on Monday, January 3, 2011. New elective classes for the Middle School will begin at that time as well.Have a happy holiday!

Thank you to all who came and enjoyed Carnival and all who helped at Carnival! From booths to serving to buying, you helped to make the evening a great success!! And a special thank you to the Spainhoward family for donating their whole day to cook the wonderful dinner. It is so wonderful to see all the families enjoying themselves in a safe environment and the added bonus of the evening benefiting so many associations for the school. As you may know, the Parent Teacher Club hosts Carnival, but many of the booths and activities are hosted by our groups, such as Student Council, AVID, ELAC, band boosters, and the Camp Keep fund. Including all associations, Carnival made over $10,000. That is a great boost to the activities each association is committed to. Again, thank you!
